As a handheld, it's one of the best fighters out there. I'm sure PSP will get something that will totally blow this out of the water; but for now, KOF: Extreme is king.

Besides the choppy animation and poor framerate, The King of Fighters Extreme is a great addition to the N-Gage library. It offers a lot of the fun and excitement found in other versions found on other platforms, and being able to play it against others wirelessly only adds to the fun.

Fans of the series or even just gamers who want a decent 2D beat 'em up on the go will relish this title. For a handheld game it offers more than enough gameplay, with all the characters, combinations to learn, unlockables, difficulty settings and multiplayer, more than enough to keep you busy.
