Summary
Rifts on the N-Gage platform incorporates characters and environments from the print series while at the same time introducing new characters, plots and storylines as it expands into the video game space. On the N-Gage version, gamers explore the chaotic Rifts world via an original 3D graphic engine and assemble a party of characters ranging from the metal behemoth Glitter Boy to the psychic Mind Melter. With an immersive storyline, up to four players can campaign collaboratively via Bluetooth wireless technology, or battle other players around the world via the N-Gage Arena. [Nokia]

Quite simply a game created by fans of the series and it really shows. Backbone have done a terrific job and created one of the best games yet seen on the Nokia platform.

A solid game that takes place in a fascinating universe, complete with lots of replay value and deep character development. It’s by no means going to be the next big thing in gaming, but if you're an N-Gage-owning RPG fan, then I can't think of any reason NOT to get this game.

I was honestly hoping for something a little more revolutionary, but at this stage of the platform's life any decent new games should be considered a pleasant surprise.

Having tons of replay value and offering a solid single player experience, picking up this game is really a no brainer. If you own an N-Gage, you really should have this game in your collection.

The game won't be everyone's speed, but it shouldn't be, as it has a tactical focus that will no doubt draw in the fan base it's aiming for. It's got a Promise of Power, and mostly delivers.

Unfortunately for all fans of the Rifts Universe, and for futuristic RPGs in the general, this game is an utter letdown.
