Summary
Starring Mike Judge
Although rights issues made it unfeasible (or at least uneconomical) to present episodes of the classic MTV series as they originally aired, this 3-DVD set compiles 40 animated shorts on Discs 1 and 2 and a dozen music videos on Disc 3, all handpicked by creator Mike Judge.

Justice has finally been served in the eyes of Beavis and Butt-Head fans, as the biggest animated lunkheads in TV history are nicely represented in this three-disc DVD set.

After years of half baked collections of the shows on video and even a Time Life DVD series, this collection finally does justice to the series in a home video release.

With this DVD collection... Beavis and Butt-head may emerge better equipped to claim a spot in animation history.

It helps that subtler, more sophisticated projects like Office Space and King Of The Hill went on to confirm what Beavis And Butt-head strongly suggested: that Judge is one of America's most trenchant and perceptive social satirists.

More than a decade after making their debut on MTV, the sniggering little punks remain subversively funny, both as dumb gross humor and crude cheap animation. [12 Dec 2005, p.39]
Pittsburgh Post-GazettePhilip A. Stephenson
This collection is a must-have for fans and... decidedly unnecessary for those indifferent.

amazing
Gabe Mystery gave it a10:
Excellent collection in comparison to the Time Life collection. Hopefully a special edition DVD of the movie Beavis and Butthead Do America will be released soon. Mike Judge is a genius.
Nate H gave it a9:
This is the first collection that dose justice to the genius of Mike Judge. And the music videos are funny as hell
Marc D. gave it a9:
Finally, a DVD set featuring the videos, not just the cartoons. Butthead's critiques of the videos were the best part of the original shows.
