I LOVE jeff dunham but this was really not what I thought it would be. It was quite disappointing!

Clearly, one of the dumbest attempts at entertainment I have ever seen. It is so bad you risk injury by simultaneously cringing and rushing to the remote to get it off the screen.

Extremely unfunny show made for the Dane Cook of ventriloquists. Dunham's literally and figuratively wooden characters reak of bad stereotypes and even lamer jokes as they meander aimlessly through a slew of poor sketches, predictable gaffs and more awkward silences than you can handle. Draw some eyes on a sock puppet and amuse yourself for the thirty minutes, your time will be more well spent that way.

I have been a fan of Jeff Dunham from his origional stand up special but then he got mainstream and realized people like certain lines he says. So what does he do he makes a tv show where most of the jokes are repeats of what people like. Its stupid unreal and i laughed once a pitty laugh. The clips are just pointless because they obiously are scripted. Jeff Dunham is a comic that is hilarious the first time you see him but on a weekly basis everyone shoule stay away.

Dunham has puppets because if he had to rely on his own wit, ingenuity, and comedic writing ability, he would have nothing. And sadly, he probably had a lot of help writing material for the pilot. Nothing funny here whatsoever. Dunham says he's putting a new paint job on an old art form - to that I say, you can't polish a turd.

So, if it's a filthy, nasty, crude stand-up routine, it's a hit with the critics - but you get a guy that has at least a vague idea of what a semi-famly friendly show should be and it's offensive to the critics? I think perhaps we're hearing not from critics on this one, but HYPOCRITics. Dunham is one of the funniest comedians to come along in a long, long time and the show has one episode under it's belt. I submit that the ratings it's getting isn't a result of the show itself, but for the general dislike toward someone who is everything that Eddie Murphy or Richard Pryor could never have been.
